Maeve Monaghan (NOW Project) on the Basque Case

Maeve was appointed to NOW in 2001 and has been responsible for the development of the organisation over the past 13 years. Maeve has been instrumental in growing NOW with a mission to make an impact on the lives of people with learning disabilities. The organisation employs 50 people and is a limited company with charitable status which delivers award winning training and supported employment services for over 350 people per year. NOW was awarded NI Social Enterprise of The Year 2014 and was highly commend for its work on Social Impact at UK Social Enterprise Awards, 2013. It also operates two social businesses Loaf Catering (which incorporates 4 Cafes including a prestigious new contract at Belfast City Hall and a Corporate Catering Business) and Gauge which helps organisations understand, measure and communicate their impact.
