Community Lab 2022: Post Coal Future
The Community Lab 2022: Post Coal Future launched an open call to support community experiments that aim at overcoming existing barriers in Just Transition in Czech Republic, Poland, and Romania. Here are the selected organizations with their respective projects:
Czech Republic (City of Karvina)
Organization: Dokoran Initiative
Project: Organization of local events in 4 categories: culture, gastronomy, sports and development.
Romania (Jiu Valley)
Organization: Asociația Umanitară Kandila
Project: Sustainable tourism project. Reuse of a house to transform it into a hostel and involvement of vulnerable groups
Greater Poland (Konin)
Organization: Aglomeracja Koninska Association & ZEPAK & Konin Municipality
Project: Co-working space and flexible office solutions for entrepreneurs, companies, freelancers, community
