Peter Loge

Peter Loge has nearly 30 years of experience in politics and communications, including a presidential appointment at the Food and Drug Administration during the Obama administration and senior positions for Senator Edward Kennedy and three members of the U.S. House of Representatives. He currently directs the Project on Ethics in Political Communication at the School of Media and Public Affairs and continues to advise advocates and organizations.

His eclectic career also includes a solo exhibition of his sculptures in a Washington, D.C. gallery, and appearances as a political satirist on NPR and several published books.

Loge has extensive experience in political communications and strategy, as regional field director for the Concord Coalition, chief of staff, press secretary and campaign manager for Democratic Congressman Brad Sherman, director of constituent services for former Democratic Congressman Sam Coppersmith and deputy chief of staff to the late Democratic Senator Edward Kennedy. Peter managed Sherman's first re-election campaign, made Coppersmith the first member of Congress with an Internet presence in 1993 and, while working for Senator Kennedy, coordinated the first online chat with a federal elected official.
