Itziar Moreno is the co-director of the Agirre Lehendakaria Center for Social and Political Studies, a collaborative initiative between the University of the Basque Country and Columbia University (AC4). ALC specializes in the design, implementation and evaluation of large-scale social innovation processes in collaboration with various institutions (UNDP, EIT-Climate KIC, ILO, IDB, FLC, Basque Government and other academic and social institutions. Itziar leads the center's digital strategy, focused on generating digital infrastructures that analyze social perceptions and contribute to the co-creation of initiatives from a complex system approach. She also evaluates the quality of all ALC programs, has designed the K tool (focused on managing, communicating and evaluating social innovation programs) and directs and edits the K magazine. She began her professional career at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and has a degree in Social Sciences (Journalism Mayor) from the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU), a Master's degree in Philosophy for Contemporary Challenges (UOC) and a Postgraduate degree in Big Data and Business Intelligence (University of Deusto). She is fluent in Spanish, Basque, English and German.
