El pasado 19 de septiembre INCORE (The International Conflict Research Institute – Universidad de Ulster, Irlanda del Norte) en colaboración con Agirre Lehendakaria Center, THE NERVE CENTRE (Derry), THE YOUNG FOUNDATION (Londres), CULTURE SHOCK (Nueva York) y SCENSEI (Washington) presentaron THE PEACETECHLAB (Peacebuilding and Technology Laboratory). El principal objetivo de este laboratorio es explorar cómo la tecnología puede utilizarse para la construcción de la paz.

Christian Bason on the role of innovation in the public sector

ALC organized a seminar with the European reference on public sector innovation Christian Bason, and connected him with basque companies and institutions. During the interview Bason talks about the ability the Governments and public organizations have to deliver the results, experiences and services the citizens expect, by INVOLVING them, both in discovering the issues they are facing and co-creating better solutions. David Lane on ALC

Professor David Lane directed a European Commission project on the Information Society as a Complex System, in which participated scientists from Imperial College, the Sorbonne, and the Santa Fe Institute as well as the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He is currently director of two European Commission projects: Innovation, Sustainability and ICT; and Emergence by Design. Both projects have partners from academia, technology companies and the world of social innovation. Among other awards, Lane received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1986. He has also been elected a Fellow in the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, the International Statistical Society and the American Statistical Society.

Borislava Manojlovic

Borislava Manojlovic is Professor and Director of Research Projects at School of Diplomacy and International Relations (Seton Hall University). She has worked with the United Nations and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Croatia and Kosovo. Specialties: Historical narratives and conflict; peacemaking; human security; education in post-conflict contexts; reconciliation.

Armando Geller on ALC

Armando Geller is co-founder of the Scensei initiative and works currently on Agirre Center's BPPS project (Basque Peace Process Scenarios). He is also affiliated with the School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University, and specializes in information elicitation in challenging circumstances and evidence-driven model design. He lectures in computational social science and contemporary conflict.
