Former Basque president opened the photo exhibition “Stubbornly… Story of the catalan process” at the University of Vic, where he also offered a conference.

Last November 5, former Basque president Juan Jose Ibarretxe opened the photo exhibition “Tossudament... Relat del procés catalá” (“Stubbornly… Story of the catalan process”) at the University of Vic, Catalonia, where he also offered a conference.

First he was received at the Catalan university by the International Relationships Vice Dean Joan Masnoi, Communications Faculty Dean Xavier Ferràs Communications Faculty Vice Dean Xavier Ginestra, Cristina Perales and Iconna agency representative Jordi Ribot.

He was later received at the Vic City Hall by Mayoress Anna Erra. After the conference on the relationship between people and politics, with great attendance, President Ibarretxe visited the exhibition.

THE EXHIBITION

Tossudament” displays 76 large format pictures (from the 2012 and 2014 Diadas, the 9N referendum, or the Via Catalana, among others), as well as six opinion pieces by Xavier Valentí, Albert Bayot and Cristina Perales among others.

A special video that captures different views on the process by relevant people (Juan Jose Ibarretxe, Pilar Rahola, Carme Forcadell o Joan Font) closes the exhibition. The video has been directed by Quim Güell and produced by the Iconna team.
